What are Friends?

Friends of the Oakville Timberland Library are people living in and around the City of Oakville who believe excellent library services are important to everyone and add to the quality of life in their community.

As a non-profit support group, Friends work locally with the Oakville Timberland Library staff and Oakville to promote the goals and objectives, as well as the full range of services and resources, offered by the Timberland Regional Library within their community. They all share a common concern-to preserve and protect intellectual freedom as guaranteed in our First Amendment rights.

The Friends of the Oakville Timberland Library is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. This charity is currently registered with the Washington Secretary of State Office.
